Introduction
The Department of International Exchange and Cooperation was established in 2004. Foreign affairs, communication with professional counterparts and universities of other countries, academic training program and visit for staff and domestic professionals, providing assistant service for significant international planning projects and preparatory work for large international academic seminars are main responsibilities of this department. Additionally, relying on technical strength of TJUPDI and academic reputation of CAUP (College of Architecture and Urban Planning), Tongji University, the Department has set up firm connections with many foreign planning units and colleges, which are playing important role in TJUPDI's internationalization.
